When Zentek and the military offered Col. John Miller the chance to become head of security at a classified research lab, he gladly took it. Miller was under investigation and his command abilities were called into question after he lead an entire squad of special forces operatives into an ambush that only he survived. Many in the military wanted him out, but those who knew Miller knew this was not the kind of man you put back into the public. So, as a favor for his many years of extraordinary service, he was given the position of head of security at the Zentek lab. Miller sees himself as a bit of a failure and, after many years, still feels the deaths of those men he lead on his conscience. Unbeknownst to Miller, it was the recommendation of his nemesis, Sean Ranson, that allowed him to get the job. Ranson wanted the best man to guard the project at the Zentek lab, and Miller was his only choice. However, Miller was not brought into the fold of the project, so he is unaware of what goes on in the deep center of the lab.

With the facility under attack, and Miller’s security team under assault, he must now overcome his own guilt and the man from his past to unravel the mystery of what he’s been guarding, and escape alive.
